Historian Khoo Kay Kim in ICU after heart attack

KUALA LUMPUR: Historian Prof Emeritus Tan Sri Dr Khoo Kay Kim (pic) has been warded at the University Malaya Medical Centre after suffering a heart attack on Friday.

His son Rubin Khoo said his father was in a stable condition and recovering in the hospital's intensive care unit.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak visited Prof Khoo.

He also conveyed his prayers for Prof Khoo's speedy recovery through his Twitter account and 1Malaysia blog.

In his blog, Najib said he had spent some time talking to the doctors who were attending to the prominent historian.

“I pray for his speedy recovery and conveyed my warmest regards toPuan Sri Rathi Khoo,” he said, referring to Prof Khoo's wife.

Najib said that Prof Khoo, 75, had played a role in shaping the Malaysian landscape through his role in devising the Rukunegara.

Someone in Brain Dead condition

Comment : She is my auntie who live in Subang Jaya. She has diabetes, High blood pressure, in dialysis and Heart attack problem. She told us about her heart problem 3 years ago and i start to introduce Qi-Synergy Exercise class to her in 2009 and she no respond to it (That time the cost for 4 days exercise class just RM3,800).

Since 2009, she start to develop heart attacks and the rest of sickness one by one. Last 2 weeks she had heart failure in Subang Hospital straight fall into coma and now she need oxygen injection machine to keep her life afloat.

Someone in Stage 4 liver cancer
